# Events tracking

> Configure event tracking on your website or app to feed ML models and power SegmentStream attribution.

Events are specific actions or interactions that users perform on your website or application, such as clicking a button, viewing a page, or completing a form. They play a significant role in training the SegmentStream machine learning models, which analyse the sequence of events leading up to conversions to power the attribution models available in reports.

## GA4 BigQuery Export

If Google Analytics 4 is already implemented on your website or app, integrating event tracking through the native GA4 BigQuery Link feature is the most straightforward approach. This method exports your GA4 event data directly to BigQuery, where SegmentStream can process it.

## Adobe Analytics

For websites using Adobe Analytics, SegmentStream can ingest event data through a dedicated integration. Contact your project manager for setup details.

## Consent mode

SegmentStream supports Google Consent Mode, allowing you to collect event data while respecting user privacy preferences. When consent is denied, SegmentStream can still attribute conversions using aggregated and modelled data.
