# First click

> Configure the first click attribution model in SegmentStream to assign conversion credit to the initial marketing touchpoint.

The first click attribution model assigns all credit for a conversion to the initial marketing touchpoint that a customer interacts with before converting.

## Name

You can name the attribution model as you want to see it displayed in the reports dashboard.

## Attribution type

Select the `First Click` option from the selector.
