# Attribution

> Assess digital marketing campaign outcomes with adaptable attribution reports covering key metrics from Cost per Conversion to ROAS.

The Attribution section provides tools for assessing your digital marketing campaign outcomes. Attribution reports are adaptable and let you quickly gauge key metrics, from Cost per Conversion to ROAS. You can compare multiple attribution models side by side within a single view.

## Getting started

Before using attribution reports:

* Ensure [events tracking](/project-configuration/events-tracking) is set up.
* Connect at least one [data source](/project-configuration/data-sources/overview).
* Define a minimum of one [conversion event](/project-configuration/conversions).

## Navigation

* To access reports, navigate to the **Attribution** tab in the main menu.
* To switch between reports, click the report name.

## Charts

You can visualise data through line charts.

* **Multiple metrics** -- each line in the chart corresponds to a specific metric you have added to your table.
* **Grouping options** -- data can be grouped by day, week, or month.

## Table

Tables present data in three column types:

* **Dimensions** -- for example, Source/Medium, Campaign.
* **General metrics** -- for example, Cost, Impressions, Clicks, Users.
* **Conversion metrics** -- for example, Conversions, Conversion Value, ROAS.

Modify the table columns to your preference using the control buttons above. Learn more about [customisation](/attribution/customisation).

<Tip>
  To export data from the table to CSV or Google Sheets, click the export button at the top right of the table.
</Tip>

## Filters

* **Date filters** -- located above the chart, this lets you specify a date range or compare two distinct periods such as the previous week.
* **Data filters** -- beneath the chart, refine your results based on specific criteria. For instance, filter results where `Ad platform equals Facebook Ads` AND `Country is the UK`.

Learn more about [data filtering](/attribution/data-filtering).

## Managing reports

Attribution reports are fully customisable. Tailor your view by adjusting the date range, setting filters, and adding or removing dimensions and metrics.

To save your customised report, select **Save** or **Save as new** in the top right corner. This generates a new report view you can retrieve by selecting the report name from the dropdown menu in the top left corner.
